This necklace took me about 4 hours to create and nearly 30 feet of wire — and for the first time ever, I used every single inch. Nothing was wasted.
It features two amethyst cabochons wrapped in 26-gauge wire coiled around a strong 20-gauge base. The cord is hand-braided from 1mm nylon thread and adjusts from 28 inches down to 14 inches, so it works with different necklines and layers.
I made this piece during my first week of sobriety, choosing creativity over escape. Amethyst is known for clarity, harmony, and inner strength— and this necklace carries all of that energy with it.
